5 Highlights of October
I don’t know where October went? It’s gone so fast and now I am that person that is ready to watch Christmas films a month early, then by December I am bored with them. Don’t worry though Christmas decorations won’t be up till December though! I had a pretty good October though with half term in the middle, where I had a spontaneous trip to London and caught up with friends and family.
5 Highlights of October Page Explained
1) Bad Weather Experience
For my birthday I received a present to go and have a go at a bad weather experience. This basically translates as learning to control a skid in a skid pan, driving a mini cooper at Goodwood. It was so much fun, even though I was apprehensive at first. I got the hang of learning how to get the car back in control pretty quickly which I was shocked about and it has given me the confidence to know that I have the skills if this were to ever happen on the road (hopefully it never does). I still think it would be really scary even knowing how to get the car back under control!
2) Halloween Party
October is always a great time for Halloween parties and pumpkin carving. I don’t really enjoy dressing up, but I made the effort to go as someone from St Trinians just to be a good sport. It was a great way to meet up with friends as well and do something a bit different than what we would normally do.
3) Started a new theme on Instagram
I stopped caring about the rules that people tell you to follow on Instagram and decided that I would do my own theme, which is different from the normal bloggers warm trend that is happening at the moment. I just decided that the pictures I love to take are in the countryside as that’s where I live so my theme should represent that! I am loving how it is looking so far and I am definitely going to keep creating content I love!
4) I tried Inktober
I gave Inktober a try which I have never done before, for those of you that don’t know Inktober is where you draw something every day during the month of October. I didn’t complete it all in October (I’m still doing some of them now) but it is making me enjoy producing art again which is always a bonus.
I went to see Wicked in London, I had seen it before but I definitely had forgotten everything about it as it was so long ago. I loved every second of it, the costumes, the music, the acting, EVERYTHING! If you haven’t seen it yet, then I highly suggest that you go and watch it!
