It’s CHRISTMAS! I have already been to a Christmas fair and have a London trip and Christmas dinner planned during the build up to Christmas day. I will be putting up decorations and listening to Christmas songs whilst drinking mulled wine and eating all the mince pies I can get my hands on! Christmas is by far my favourite time of the year and we do have some cute traditions that we do each year too.

5 Highlights of October

I don’t know where October went? It’s gone so fast and now I am that person that is ready to watch Christmas films a month early, then by December I am bored with them. Don’t worry though Christmas decorations won’t be up till December though! I had a pretty good October though with half term in the middle, where I had a spontaneous trip to London and caught up with friends and family.

Quitting Social Media: What I Learnt- Week 1

I have started the scroll free September because I tried to quit social media before and failed after 3 days so I thought I would give it all another go. Because I will not go on it for a month, I am determined! I have blocked the websites for all my social media on my computer and my safari so when I have a week moment and type ‘f-enter’ as a habit, a lovely picture comes up instead.

The main thing that has happened this month is that I have given up all my social media pages for a month. I tried to do this a couple months ago and failed miserably, so as part of scroll free September (started by a health charity) has made a scheme for people to sign out of their social media profiles for a whole month to improve your mental health.
