I have always loved hobby craft and I ordered a couple of things on there last week and I got a couple of things from the scrapbooking section. I have made a scrapbook about my university experience and I want to carry on doing this through different parts of my life so that I have something to look back on.
Hobby Craft Haul
This scrapbook has a lovely map on the front, tied with a blue ribbon to tie it together and brown paper inside. I chose this to put some of our holiday photos in, and I will start with Kent from last year because I am really impressed with how they came out. I love making creating a space to remember what happened on our holidays and to remember the good times with people that I love.
I also purchased this scrapbook project life 130 pieces set as well to decorate the scrapbook pages and make them more interesting. I love them as there are a variety of different pictures and quotes so you can really have fun making your pages stand out. I really wanna buy more of them already!
Disclaimer* this is not a sponsored post I just love these products and brand.
Why You Should Keep Making Memories
Memories are really important to me, probably one of the reasons why I love taking pictures so much. Life is short and you need to make the most of living life with great company while you can!
I love having days out with my family because I always feel better afterwards; I am really close with my family and love them all to bits, but there never seems to be enough time, or everyone's busy at different times to actually be available for a trip out! I like to take photographs of the whole day because I want to treasure each of these moments. Holidays are probably the only time when we are all in the same place at the same time; so making a picture journal is something I have always done to help keep those memories alive!
Making memories with friends is also important to me, as when you go through different stages of your life you lose contact with some of the people you once had some terrific times with! I know that there is social networking to keep in contact with these people, but the face to face contact eventually drizzles out; unfortunately! So I find that having the photographs helps me to remember to contact someone I haven't seen in ages or just remember the good times with those people!
I wouldn't be able to live without my best friend! She is my rock sometimes; we don't always talk very often when our lives are getting busier, with work getting in the way. It doesn't help that I am so rubbish with getting back to people via text message or Facebook; I normally read the message and then think I will reply to that after I have done something else; but then I forget! I'm terrible! Just knowing that they are there to have your back in good and bad times is the main thing, and when you have found a friend like this; you know you are very lucky! And sorry Lauren (if your reading), for never replying! I'm hopeless!
