Look Through January

I showed you my 2018 bullet journal page spreads the other week, so now I thought I would show you my January ones. I decided to go with a mountain theme for this month as it goes with a wintry theme as it has been so cold this January. I have used pages that I think are going to be useful for me this month, to make the best out of a new year and to allow some planning for my blog as well some space for any work-related to-do lists.

Cover Page

I used my Faber Castell PITT artist pens to create this cover page. I like that I have used different fonts and I think they go well with each other. The January font has a darker line at the top because I wanted to represent snow landing on it. Then I created a wintry scene of mountains, trees and snow falling.

Monthly Page Spread

I carried on with the mountain theme and put a small overview calendar on the left-hand side, then like last month's page spread I decided to do a list view to record any important dates that might come up. Whether that's personal or work related. I have started my new job so this is helping to keep on top of that too. I wanted a seperate blog one this month because I thought it got too crowded last month.

Blog Content & Habit Tracker

look through january

I have made a blog content page where I can write all my blog posts out to know when they have been scheduled. I also make sure to note whether they have photographs ready, been written and links have been added. This really helps to keep everything organised. I decided to do my habit tracker differently this month and have rows instead of a big one. I really struggle to keep up to date with my habit tracker so I am going to see if this makes it any easier. I have kept with the running theme of mountains and trees with snow falling.

Weekly Page Spread

I make all my weeklies the same for the month, so I decided to have banners for the days of the week. This way I have plenty of room for my to-do lists for those days. On the right-hand side, I have the goals that I want to achieve that week and a what happened section so I can write an overview of my week. They are so nice to look back over. There is also a space to make any doodles or put a motivational post as well whenever I feel like filling that space out.

Spending Tracker

I wanted to make more of an effort to keep track of my spending habits this month as I need to keep more track over my money. I want to know how much I spend a month on the essentials like lunches and petrol so that I know how much I have left to spend on myself.
