Look Through December
My very first look through my bullet journal and what better time to start than in December when you can get in the festive spirit. This month has been kinda stressful with the whole look for a job thing, and not being sure of what I wanted to do. Now, I feel that it is slowly coming together and hopefully will be getting some work in January. Which allows me to have a lovely Christmas at home with the family.
Look Through December
Doodle & Hello Page
I decided to have a doodle page this month for some ideas of what Christmassy things I could draw.
I normally like my bullet journal to be quite minimalist, but this month I decided to make sure that I used some of my creativity (at least for the front cover) and went for it with the holly and snowflakes. I really like how it turned out.
I decided to do a list format this month with a list of blog ideas and when they should be published and then a personal/work side where I put any appointements, interviews or social events I needed to go to.
Oh Hey Olaf!
I had to go with Olaf for this month, and look how happy he looks to be here. I always do a monthly goals and to do list. The goals I have for this month are to keep my blogging schedule as much as I can, so far so good. Do at least one piece of artwork this month. As I haven't done a proper art piece for god knows how long and I really want to get back into it. I am also doing a self care thing this month to make sure I do one thing I love each week. It's so easy to feel down during this part of the year, so to make sure that I don't I want to makes sure that I do something that I love regularly to keep me motivated during these cold, dark months. My monthly to do's are ones that need to happen throughout the whole month and this months main to do is to keep on track with my habit tracker, I am awful with filling this out.
I wanted to keep my habit tracker really simple this month because I always forget to fill it in! I wanted to add some habits in this month that would improve my mood. Like art and reading so that these dark days are more enjoyable- or as enjoyable as they can be.
If you aren't aware of what a mood tracker is, it's where you create 31 different (depending on how many days there are in that month) sections then you rate your mood with different colours. I decided to draw a snowflake, to keep in with the winter theme-of course, and I will colour in my mood- 1 being low and 7 being happy.
I decided to get creative with this weeks weekly and put each of the days into a circle of the snowman. I am really pleased with how these turned out, I never normally do this because it takes too much time. But I wanted to make more of an effort this month. I have a weekly goals and happy list. I wanted to make sure I completed one thing a week that makes me happy.
I decided to make a summary list of what happened over the week so that it is like a little journal to look back on.
The Fun Part
What better way to decorate your weeklies than using some of those doodles from the doodle page list. I didn't like how I did Rudolph in my doodles list ideas page so I left everything blank and put patterns on the antlers.
