I have been given a National Trust Membership card by my bestie, as she knows how much I love taking photographs! And What a beautiful day to go out and take some photos of flowers. Hinton Ampner is situated in Alresford , Hampshire. It has a lovely 1960 house and gorgeous gardens to go with it, what a great way to spend a Sunday, sitting with a gorgeous view with a cuppa tea and an ice-cream.
I have decided against New Year’s resolutions this year. I never stick with them anyway so I don’t believe in setting myself up for failure already… I do love goal setting as much as the next person but I like doing them on a month basis as goals change and once they’ve been achieved you can move onto another one. There are things I wanna do in 2019 that I think I need to document as a kinda bucket list for the whole year! Probably gunna copy this list into my bullet journal because that is just something that I would do!
I’m not gonna lie, I’ve had no motivation to pick up my bullet journal for a couple of months now but the new year has given me a new sense of motivation- to at least start the year right. There are many reasons why I haven’t been so into bullet journaling recently- I didn’t know how to get it to fit in with my blog- it always looked out of place in the lifestyle area of my blog.
Just like last year, I want to do a round up of all my favourite blog posts throughout the year. I added some more advice posts this year and I’ve loved writing them. I would love to keep writing them throughout next year too. I also managed to daily blog throughout April for my blogs first birthday- I’ll probably never daily blog again so that’s a real accomplishment for me.
I’m in my second year of blogging on Squarespace and I love learning about all the different tools so that I can design a website that I love. My blog has had many changes over the last few years and I definitely love my latest design! I definitely did so much research with which site would be the best one for me out of Squarespace and Wordpress and I have not looked back since.
I don’t know where October went? It’s gone so fast and now I am that person that is ready to watch Christmas films a month early, then by December I am bored with them. Don’t worry though Christmas decorations won’t be up till December though! I had a pretty good October though with half term in the middle, where I had a spontaneous trip to London and caught up with friends and family.
With so much emphasis to be happy 24/7, using social media as a highlight real; where we fake how in control of our lives we really are. Despite it looking like all I do is take pictures of pretty flowers and listen to Disney songs, I definitely do not have my shit together all of the time. I am the worst for comparing myself to other people’s lives that we see on Instagram.
As a blogger there are a few apps that are essential to make your life a little easier when you need to get a post ready for publishing and for promotion purposes. There are some apps that bloggers definitely need to help them make this process easier, especially scheduler apps. Whoever invented them are a genius and on behalf of every blogger we thank you for it.
